Tune Up Your Belt Sander!
Graphite pads act as a dry lubricant between the back of the sanding belt and the platen (bottom surface) of your belt sander. By reducing friction and heat buildup, they can greatly extend the life of your abrasive belts, help prevent burning the wood, and allow your sander to run quieter, cooler, and more smoothly.
The graphite pad can be glued in place or secured using the factory screws, depending on your belt sander.
