Ya! Progress made today…got in a zone…gotta love that! So… the wings were created using a "marquetry"technique and then I added a border. Then the whole piece goes in as an "inlay". Good example of the differences between marquetry and inlay…thnx! Side note: Instead of prying on the inlay after final fit…I use air to pop it loose…
